Destiny Early Child Development & Daycare Center

Opened July 2021

About the School

This Nyarombe Village School, called "Destiny Early Child Development and Day Care" opened in late July 2021 and currently has 2 classrooms for PrePrimary-1 and PrePrimary-2 (or Toddler and Kindergarten). They have 2 additional classrooms for the new graduates into the First and Second Grade.

The school grew from 2 children on the first day to 28 children in 3 weeks and are increasing as more families respond.

They currently have 70 children enrolled as well as 4 teachers and 1 cook  that have stepped out in faith with their heart and gifts to join Pastor John Omondi in this vision and journey to reach the vulnerable children in the village.

The children are instructed and taught daily, receive outdoor activities, rest, and nap, and are fed daily. The food is most important as it is what attracts the children to the school and gives them something to eat as life in the village is hard and sometimes they don't get much from home to eat. This school started off to meet a need for a separate classroom for the children to meet during Sunday service and make Day Care available during the weekdays. However, it began to expand quickly from the response of the people. The vision will grow into more classrooms that would enable them to reach older children as well in Primary and Secondary.

Follow this ministry's blog for current projects and needs.

The most recent project completed was the building of a larger 6 door latrine, and we're currently constructing an added extention in preparation for the next year.

The most urgent need is for a large 5000 liter water tank on the school property as required by the govenrment.

Village School & Church Together

The school and church are adjacent to one another.  There is currently four classrooms and there is plenty of land for growth and added classrooms.

The heart of the Father is toward this young village church and school.

We continue to pray for favor and increased provision in every way for this little village church and Early Child Development Center and Day Care as the Lord's hand blesses it and uses it to minister to these little children and this Kenya village people as a whole. God's going to use these little children and this budding school to reach the village people with His heart, to open them to His Word and to manifest His blessing in their lives.
